Yoga capital, Ganges River, Adventure Sports, Spiritual Retreat.

Rishikesh, located on the banks of the River Ganges against the backdrop of the Himalayas, is a beautiful and serene city. The air is filled with the soothing sounds of temple prayers and the scent of incense, earning it the nickname “Yoga Capital of the World.” The evening Aarti (prayer ceremony) offers a glimpse into India’s culture and is truly a mesmerizing spectacle. Hundreds of pilgrims gather on the riverbank with clay lamps, which are then gently floated down the river. The ringing of temple bells, chants, and prayers all immerse you in its spiritual atmosphere. Staying at The Glasshouse, formerly the Maharaja’s garden house and now a hotel, adds charm to this place. It offers rooms with magnificent views of the river and scenic hills. Come and experience a sense of tranquility and peace in the sacred city of Rishikesh during your tour of India.
